The Warne Maxlite MSR Cantilever Mount bridges the gap between entry-level scope mounts and premium performance — 6061-T6 aluminum, dual integrated recoil lugs, dual cross-bolt clamp, correct MSR ideal height, and over 2 inches of forward cantilever, Made in USA, at a price point that puts genuine engineering within reach of serious shooters who are mindful of their budget.

The Warne Maxlite MSR Cantilever Scope Mount (1-inch, 0 MOA, Black Anodized) is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with a dual cross-bolt clamp and dual integrated recoil lugs. It provides the MSR ideal height for AR-15 flat-top use and over 2 inches of forward cantilever for correct eye relief with standard scopes. Starting weight: 6.1 oz. Finish: black anodize. Made in USA.

The MSR ideal height is the specific rail-to-scope-centerline measurement that positions a riflescope at the correct height for a natural cheek weld on an AR-15 flat-top upper — a measurement that differs from standard bolt-action ring heights and is frequently incorrect on budget mounts that simply apply standard ring height specifications to an AR-15 platform. Getting this height wrong forces the shooter to either cant their head up to see through the optic or cant the rifle to align the scope, both of which compromise cheek weld consistency and therefore shot-to-shot accuracy. The Maxlite's dual integrated recoil lugs engage the Picatinny rail slots to resist the rearward impulse of each shot, preventing the forward walking that degrades zero on mounts without lug engagement. The dual cross-bolt clamp provides secure, even clamping force across the mount base without the single-point failure mode of a single cross-bolt design. The forward cantilever moves the scope forward on the rail to provide correct eye relief with standard eye relief scopes — necessary on an AR-15 platform where the scope must be positioned further forward than on a bolt-action to clear the charging handle and maintain correct eye relief in the shooting position. The 6061-T6 aluminum construction reduces weight meaningfully compared to steel mounts while maintaining structural integrity for the recoil loads of AR-15 class platforms.

Tube size: 1 inch. MOA cant: 0 MOA. Material: 6061-T6 aluminum. Finish: black anodize. Recoil lugs: dual integrated. Clamp: dual cross-bolt. Height: MSR ideal. Cantilever: over 2 inches forward. Weight: starting at 6.1 oz. Made in USA.

MSR ideal height positions the scope at the correct cheek weld height for AR-15 flat-top uppers — not standard ring height, the correct AR-specific measurement. Dual integrated recoil lugs resist forward walking under recoil. Dual cross-bolt clamp provides even clamping force without single-point failure risk. Over 2 inches of forward cantilever ensures correct eye relief for standard scopes on AR-15 platforms.

The right mount for AR-15 users who want correct MSR height, genuine recoil lug engagement, and dual cross-bolt clamping in a Made-in-USA 6061-T6 aluminum cantilever at a practical price point.
